My child may be tired to do Off-Ice training prior to the On-Ice training, will it be mandated for him/her to do the Off-Ice training? Will they be evaluated differently if they choose not to do it?

No.  Your child will not be mandated to perform the off-ice training if he or she feels uncomfortable with the new format, or if your schedule conflicts.  However, it is encouraged that your child participates as the Off-Ice training will help your child increase strength, speed, power, and explosiveness.  It will not in anyway affect your child’s evaluation for the next year.  Coaches will only evaluate on-ice play, and coachability of your child.
