Did you know that spending an hour a day outdoors can help you reduce stress and build immunity? It's no secret that being in nature is good for your health. If you have never joined us for one of our nature programs, now is the time!

Enjoy the great outdoors and interact with our environment when you explore natural areas right here in your own backyard, or other locations around Long Island.

The next nature program is our LONG WALK in Kings Point Park on Sunday, March 15, 11 a.m. Meet at the Steamboat Road entrance, first lot. Get some exercise and learn about nature while we tour the perimeter of our own 175-acre preserve. Register by 3/8.

Then on Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m., join us for BEGINNER BIRDS & BOTANY IN BROOKVILLE at Michael Galgano Park- BOCES Environmental Center,  Brookville Road, Brookville. Bring binoculars. Register by 3/21.

Nature programs are free (except where noted). Children under age 16 are not permitted to attend our nature programs. Register on line or call (516) 487-GNPD for more information.
