[ARCHIVED] Visit A Park In Autumn- You'll Be Glad You Did

IMG_1701

Summer may be the most popular season to visit our parks, but exploring the outdoors during the fall has its rewards. You may be surprised at the joy you can experience at our beautiful parks no matter what the season!

Parks are one of the best places to unplug and connect with nature. Why not check out a park you haven't been to yet? You may be surprised.

We added a new carousel to Cuttermill Park and new swings to the PlayGarden by the Village Green, as well as water pumps to both parks. The Steppingstone Playscape, which has a new indoor playground, is open (during the week 12 noon -6 p.m.; weekends 9 a.m.-6 p.m., except during reserved birthday parties). New equipment has been added to Upland Park so in addition to the train that kids love they may find something else they absolutely love to play on.

The Steppingstone sunsets are still just as captivating as ever this time of year.

Or maybe you prefer to take a hike on the 5-mile trail at Kings Point Park. This time of year the colors are mesmerizing.

Hope to see you in the parks!
