Tennis Programs
We offer tennis programs year round for any type of player. Whether you are interested in a great workout or improving overall skills, we have classes for you! From introductory level classes for the inexperienced player to advanced classes for more competitive athletes, our coaches will help you achieve your goals.
Indoor lessons are held at Parkwood Indoor Tennis Center from September tthrough May. During the spring and summer months, lessons are held at the facility's outdoor courts.

Tiny Tots (ages 3-6)
Program introduces tennis to children based on age, physical size and ability. Smaller court dimensions used from 36 feet or 60 feet in length.30 min. class; runs 14 weeks.
Residents: $235

Junior Tennis
(ages 6-17)
Geared for juniors to develop a full-court game. Players learn to serve, return serves, volley, take the ball on the rise, hit with net clearance, slice, move forward to short balls and strive to hit a better ball.
60 min. class; runs 14 weeks.
Residents: $335
Non-Residents: $420
Junior Intensive (ages 8-17)
High-performance program based on strong fundamentals in stroke production, footwork, mental training and work ethic. We have systems in place to help players develop more efficient swings, learn how to move more explosively and cultivate fundamental skills in our group workout.
2 hour class; runs 14 weeks.
Residents: $925; Non-residents: $1,095
Adult Tennis (ages 18+)
We help develop a more confident, skilled player with a mixture of drills, practice, strategy sessions and match play.
1 hour class; runs 14 weeks.
Residents: $365; Non-residents: $450
Resident Senior: $310
Women's Intensive Training (ages 18+)
Focused on improving doubles play, each on-court session training session emphasizes essential doubles positioning and tactics, developing match strategy vs different styles of opponents, mental toughness training, and attacking skills.
12-2 p.m.
B1: Monday
B2: Tuesday or Thursday
Resident: $475; Non-resident: $555
Adult Cardio (ages 18+)
Utilize a mixture of drills, practice, strategy sessions and match play to help develop a more confident, skilled player.
Wednesdays, 12 noon-2 p.m.

Men's Doubles (ages 18+)
Meets Thursdays from 9-10:30 a.m.
Resident: $590; Non-resident: $690
PICKLEBALL is the latest craze! And now, you can try it out at the Allenwood Park tennis courts, just bring your own paddle, we provide the balls.
The sport is played with a paddle and a ball similar to a wiffle ball. It's a combination of badminton, tennis and ping pong.
The courts are open and you can play during the hours of 9 a.m. to dusk.
Residents can pick up balls from Park staff in the "clubhouse" (aka garage). Give this new sport a try!
