Program Description (Pre-COVID)
We are very excited for our next version of the Camp Parkwood Tween experience! Starting in 2017, Tweens will be traveling three times per week. Tweens will follow a modified schedule at Camp Parkwood on Mondays and Fridays, and then take day trips Tuesday through Friday. Two-Three overnight trips will be scheduled throughout the summer. Our goal is to continue to offer an experience that both engages and fosters personal growth, while also supporting your pre-teen's emerging independence. Tween Travel will explore Long Island, NYC, and other areas in the tri-state area. Space is limited. FIRST COME; FIRST SERVED!
*All trips are included in the price for Tweens. However, some additional fees may be required during the summer.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT 2021 PROGRAMMING FOR THIS AGE GROUP!
This is an innovative program option offered to those not yet old enough to be employed (ages 14 & 15). Campers join our Tweens for 2 weekly trips and learn to be staff helpers at a discounted camp rate. We hope to provide our "in-between" campers with fun and the training required to join our Camp Parkwood staff in the future.
