Great Neck House Winter Adult Classes

Accessible Art
This program provides children and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to explore the love of art with few limitations. Various art media explored in the field of art/crafts in a passionate, caring environment. This course is taught by special education instructors with extra special TLC.
Instructors:
Cindy Zubli – GNPD therapeutic skating director with years of experience. Works for GNPS Summer Rec Program. Park district resident.
& Van Moody - art teacher with years of experience. Works for GNPS Summer Rec Program.
Thursdays 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. (ages 17+) $265 * 7 weeks
Saturdays 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. (ages 7-13) $200 *8 weeks

Cardio Fitness
Get your cardio workout without pounding your joints. Followed with weights, core exercises and stretching. You will be more fit, feel energized.

Tone and Stretch
As you get older, do you find you can't do as much as you used to? Muscles begin to atrophy, resulting in weakened bones, recurring backache. Prevent these problems with regular exercise. The goal of this class is to keep a pain-free lifestyle.

Tai Chi (Click HERE to Register Online)
Tai chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels.
