The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course for the Healthcare Professional CPR course covers adults, children, and infants. This CPR course is a comprehensive CPR course and covers CPR as well as the use of the AED.
Description of Class: The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. The following features are included:
• Reflects science and education from the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC
• Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency
• Emphasis on high-quality CPR including a team dynamics classroom activity

Tai chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels.

This program provides children and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to explore the love of art with few limitations. Various art media explored in the field of art/crafts in a passionate, caring environment. This course is taught by special education instructors with extra special TLC.
