This program provides children and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to explore the love of art with few limitations.
Various art media explored in a passionate, caring environment.
Taught by special education instructors with extra special TLC.

Cindy Zubli is the GN Park District Therapeutic Skating Director with years of special education experience. Cindy works for the GN Public School Summer Rec Program and is a Park District resident.
 Van Moody  is an art teacher with years of experience. Van works for the GN Public School Summer Rec Program and is also a Park District resident.

Summer 2018

General Information: Classes begin the week of June 25. Course registration is on a first-come, first-served basis during regular registration department hours.  If you don’t see a class that meets your requirements please see our facility director about trying to coordinate another class.  Adult classes run 9-10 weeks.

- Prepay for 20 hours of Adult class time
- Attend any adult classes for one year from purchase date
- Renew as you go if needed

Tai chi is a non-competitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels. **9 weeks
