Contemporary jazz singer, Takeo Fukao, brings her duo back to Great Neck House for an exciting jazz performance. Takeo moved to NYC from Japan in the late ‘90’s and was given the nickname “songbird” by the NYC jazz community. She has been described by jazz critics as having “deep soulfulness reminiscent of Anita Baker with sophisticated scatting a la Ella.”.

Diane Block, violinist, and Terry Batts, cellist, became friends and “musical twins” while studying at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. Their collaboration continues to this day as they develop and present scintillating arrangements of a diverse array of accessible repertoire. Jess Klein (born 1974) is an American singer-songwriter. A native of Rochester, New York, Klein learned to play acoustic guitar and started writing songs while living in Kingston, Jamaica in her late teens. Klein moved to Boston upon her return home, and began performing locally. jessklein.com
