Nature Programs

Our adult nature programs are approximately one and two hours long. Advanced registration is required. These programs are for adults only; children under 16 years of age are not permitted to attend. Events usually involve some time outdoors and are held rain or shine, so dress accordingly. Register online or call 516 482-0355. Directions for trips outside the Park District will be mailed upon request.

BACK TO BACK
Saturday, September 28, 11 a.m.- approximately 2 p.m.
Avalon Park & East Farm Preserve-Stony Brook
This a relaxing and inspiring 5- mile walk through adjacent preserves. Although questions are most welcome, there will be no formal nature presentation so that we can savor the enchantment of the countryside. Bring lunch and water. Register by 9/21.
